Newcastle Utd (H) Post Match Thread

Just remembered something. Presume already mentioned, so soz in advance, but thought it was funny when Kev mistakenly thought he was being subbed whilst preparing to take a corner

Anyone got clips of the Guimaraes foul that might have been red, or the Burn YC for the "persistent offending" before the corners?

Yep, let's not get too giddy just yet, there is still a big job to do to wrap the title up and villa and steve,G will roll over and them score 6 or 7 giving them top spot again to put the pressure back on us vs wolves

having 3 players out from the back 4 is a big problem, it will need working on with both laporte and ake both left-footed or play fernandinho
On what basis do you make that wild false claim on?

That lanky twat burns got me, he was fouling in the area constantly and couldnt shut up, eventually gets a yellow card for another foul in the area so how was it then not a peno to City?

Fantastic performance from City

De Bruyne was at his brilliant best. To suggest he is over the hill and should be replaced by Ward Prowse like someone did in the embarrassing post Madrid thread is stupid and disrespectful. I agree with spitty, in that he is our best ever player

Both fullbacks were superb and posed a huge threat to Newcastle

Nice to see Sterling get two goals. I worry though that his body language after he scored means he is leaving in the summer.

I thought Grealish had a better game ,but he must look to make runs into the box , like Sterling and Foden do

The fifth goal was a thing of beauty. Lovely back heel by Foden

I'm really concerned about our lack of fit centrebacks. It would be intolerable if we lost the league at the last to them cunts
We won't mess up now, no chance.
I thought we defended well, even in the 2nd half. Ferna can do a great job for us, don't forget he played a few games last year for us.
All the more important we convert chances when they come, like yesterday but obviously we need to make sure we are tight at the back. For the West Ham game I would put Rodri at CB and Ferna in midfield as they can be quite physical.

Ball was dead so whilst a yellow or red card could be issued a penalty can't, basic LOTG

See previous replies. The ball wasn't in play.

The laws of the game are readily accessible on the FA website, folks.
