Newcastle Utd (H) Post Match Thread

Great win when the whole of the media world and pundits wanted Manchester city to still be in shock and roll over
pep has always said the Premier League is the judge and jury ? The bread and butter on the table, I really do think Champions League is Marmite, love or hate it ? don't get me wrong, the players/manager/club want to win it more than anything else ? But some fans don't see it that way, and it's the Premier League top of the list,

one thing I will say is Manchester city players need some protected in games from the officials and stop letting the opponents kick the shit out of us and smashing us with elbows and going right through the back of us. It's cost us long term with players picking up knocks and missing games, shocking yesterday by the referee and the one on Grealish is a RED card all day long ? Funny if he was in a villa shirt you know it's a red ? This is why Manchester city fans say we are being cheated,

It's been like this for the best part of 10 years. No criticism of the tactics, and no transgressions shown - or comments on them on M.O.T.D. Still, it was good to hear Pep's comments about 'everybody loves Liverpool' in the media.
Anyway, no collapse after 'Madrid'; 3 points clear; 4 superior in G.D; boiling plenty of piss as the scousers run out of games and choke under pressure.
Happy days.

Fantastic performance from City

De Bruyne was at his brilliant best. To suggest he is over the hill and should be replaced by Ward Prowse like someone did in the embarrassing post Madrid thread is stupid and disrespectful. I agree with spitty, in that he is our best ever player

Both fullbacks were superb and posed a huge threat to Newcastle

Nice to see Sterling get two goals. I worry though that his body language after he scored means he is leaving in the summer.

I thought Grealish had a better game ,but he must look to make runs into the box , like Sterling and Foden do

The fifth goal was a thing of beauty. Lovely back heel by Foden

I'm really concerned about our lack of fit centrebacks. It would be intolerable if we lost the league at the last to them cunts

Yep, let's not get too giddy just yet, there is still a big job to do to wrap the title up and villa and steve,G will roll over and them score 6 or 7 giving them top spot again to put the pressure back on us vs wolves

having 3 players out from the back 4 is a big problem, it will need working on with both laporte and ake both left-footed or play fernandinho
