FFS, Santa Cruz eat your heart out.

I feel for the lad, however,it doesn't negate the fact we spent 12m on a player, who i realise was bought primarilly with the future in mind but who was also supposed to influence our campaign this season - surely more homework should have been done??
it's not as though he didn't have similar issues at Everton......

The more i think about our summer transfer fiasco the more baffled and annoyed i become.

Said we were the better team against Utd...that he doesn't want to talk about dressing room stuff with the press and intimated 'we know where these stories are coming from'
In a Nutshell

Little bit worried about tomorrow due to our injuries and suspensions.

--------------Hart-------------
Zabaleta-Kolo-Nastasic-Clichy
----------Garcia-Yaya---------
Silva-------Tevez--------Nasri
------------Aguero-------------

Got a feeling Mancini is going to rotate again though with Dzeko up top and Maicon instead of Zabaleta.

Love the man, but have to admit that I feel "Bobby" can be too stubborn for his own good at times. Last Sunday's defeat to the rags means the Newcastle game now becomes a must win. Silva & Nasri, must, therefore, both start - Not wide on the flanks, as has been the case in recent weeks, but in a central midfield 3 - playing either side of Yaya.- where both are clearly at their most effective.

No slight at all on Silva or Samir Nasri, (Two of the best central mid fielders in the world, when used there, imo) but their crossing from wide areas is absolutely shocking... I therefore can't understand why both now seem to have been given a wide role permanently - Meaning the touchline, rather than a opposition player, is continuously acting as as a man to man marker, for for the entire 90 minutes, .... Leaving Silva or Nasri, with little or no room in which to work, week in week out

I know that Roberto isn't keen on specialist wingers, and would rather push his full-backs on, but I really feel that if we're ever going to see Edin (or Tevez) flourish here we need to bring in (at least) one orthodox winger (not converted midfielders/wing-backs like, an ageing, Maicon, Scott Sinclair or Nasri) to supply the lad with the type of quality crosses he was able to feed off at Wolfsberg.

------------------Hart--------------
-Zabba-Nasty-Komps-Clichy-
----------------Garcia ---------------
-----------------Yaya------------------
----------Nasri------Silva-----------
-------Tevez----------Aguero-------

Subs: Pants, Maicon, Kolorov Lescot, Kolo, Dzeko.Sinclair.

I think Garcia has been the main disappointment. Of all of our summer signings, he was the one that was expected to be a first team regular, an upgrade on Gareth Barry.

Nasatasic has greatly exceeded my expectations. The others haven't done much but were never going to be more than squad players.

You've put 4 defenders on the bench. I think Kompany should be rested because of fitness concerns and Balotelli is still an option despite doing so badly against U****d.

Both Milner and Barry out is unfortunate.

-- Sat Dec 15, 2012 10:48 am --

Garcia came in to replace De Jong, IMHO. It's very much a one in one out at the moment.

Steven Gerrard had serious problems with injuries when young.

Hopefully Jack can overcome these also.
i hear what you are saying blue.

still a bad buy though because we knew he would spend more time in the sick room than on the pitch when we bought him.

-- Sat Dec 15, 2012 11:27 am --

He signed a 5 year contract. You've not even given him 5 months
