Vincent Kompany is by far the best candidate for the captaincy IMO.

Ned is not an automatic first choice and his injury record make it unlikely he will captain the team in the near future.

Vincent - need to look no further and he speaks all the languages needed.

Not got the personality for it IMO, cant say i've ever noticed him rousing anyone up, thats what you need in a captain.

That's where you're wrong fella. Keep an eye on him, he's always marshalling the defence, telling the others to get in position etc. Plus he's the england under 21 captain. IMO he's the best centre half at the club by a distance. I think he's got all the attributes. He just needs to stay fit.

Kompany was way too quiet for me today.

if we are going to start to fight we need a leader who can keep heads up, motivate etc..
