We all know dunnie has had a mixed season and personally i think giving cap to diff player would be a move in right direction

Personally I think Zaba has shown he would be good to do it for us he shows passion and works his bollocks off along with already learning english after 7 months he ticks the boxes for me.

Not sure Zabaleta is going to be a regular this time next season, so wouldn't give it to him (although he does seem to have some leadership abilities).

I'd sign a player specifically to come in and take over as captain, much the same as Keegan did with Pearce. If we had anyone in the squad that could have made any significant difference to our performances and results he wouldn't have needed an armband to prove that this season.

love the man especially after getting through whatever problems he was having in his early career.he dosnt seem to shout much on the pitch tho.
