Would like to see Kompany handed the captains arm band. He's definatley got the qualities to do the job.
I'd go with Barry as vice, as he's done the job before and can give good guidance to Kompany over the season.

Captain Dunne and Vice Barry, Dunne had a poor season as did all the back four. However the 4 before were superb, with a solid defender nxt to him, who he can rely on, he will be top class again.

No chance. The captain should play every week, not just in the Carling Cup like dunney will.

No offence to the guy, but he will not feature at Blackburn, which will set the tone for the rest of his season. He will make a good squad player though, if he stays.

How come if you all think Barry will be captain did Ned get the armband the other day when Dunne and Ireland weren't on the pitch. This will most probably be the order next season as Kompany captained us last season towards the end when Dunne was suspended.
