Next Labour Leader - Miliband Resigns

I doubt this tory lot care about being brutal or fear labour at all in it's present form, as I said the boundry change proposal will help them secure permamant seats in some area no matter the policies of Labour.
But the parliamentry labour party are in danger of becoming nothing more than an empty threat, as they keep so close to the same centre slightly to the right that the tories are already then people will just look at them and think why bother vote for them if those in power are the same. Labour actually increased their vote in the last election but not where it needed to, it also lost votes in some areas that had dissilusion with them.
I know if Kendal became leader they would lose my vote and if Corbyn wins and is ousted by the PLP then they will be in danger of alienating the grassroots and core voters. this whole debate was to enlighten the party and see what it wants to be going forward, if that is socialist in it's values then so be it., but if not then so be that also.

I think the talk of the PLP ousting Corbyn, or of a SDP type split, will turn out to be so much hot air. I expect the centre of the party will just sit back in the expectation that Corbyn will flop. For someone like Kendall it might actually improve her long term leadership chances if the left get their shot at the job first. There will probably be an unofficial policy among the centre of non co-operation with Corbyn. He will find it very difficult to form a shadow cabinet with any credibility unless he lets people like Burnham follow their own agenda. Also, as a long standing rebel he will not be in a position to demand any unity from the PLP. But they'll stop short of trying to oust Corbyn unless and until its clear that he's failing in the job. I still think that the most likely outcome is that Corbyn will eventually stand down. I just dont think he wants the job.

As we move more and more into an age werepeople get their information from the Internet and not from the printed press or TV, they will be less swayed by these mediums of information.
Corbyn is getting a LOT of support from the young and offering hope to the disenfranchised.
At the general election 34% of the electorate chose not to vote, studies and history show that the less well off are more inclined not to vote than the wealthy, if he can garner the support of those that are leaving school now with little hope, those leaving university with mountains of debt, those that are seeing their wages frozen or often reduced, and offer a real alternative to cuts cuts and more cuts for the working people then I have no doubt that he can and will be the next elected PM, regardless of how the tory leadership battle pans out in two years time

They had a real alternative at the election.

TUSC or the Greens?
neither had a chance of getting enough members elected sadly and as a result i feel very many chose not to vote

Doubt it. Those who are so left wing invariably hate the Tories with a passion. Milliband might not have been as left wing as they wanted but he's a million miles away from Cameron. They would still have voted for Milliband to keep out the Tories.

Unfortunately, the dickheads he had running his campaign left him out to dry.
