No, while the things I listed do not have the finality of gravity they do exist, one might have a differing opinion about them, one might ignore them like the elephant in the room, one might have lots of tricks and wheezes to avert ones gaze, or disparage them, or attribute their causes to god or the human condition or the inevitability of blah, blah, but they exist and if politicians ignore them, or exacerbate them, they come back to bite them in the arse.
