Keir Hardie trumps Lord Salisbury by a few years!
Might not have been the last though. Did Lloyd George ever go full beard?

He may well have started of with the best intentions with his " new Labour" movement, but look where it ended up, a Yes man to George W Bush! FFS!!! Taking us into an illegal war, which has had serious repercussions on the MiddleEast, Iraq, Lbiya, Tunisia, Syria, Egypt, we've now got thousands of economic migrants and refugees flooding into Europe because they are desperate to get out Syria, Libya etc. You're saying that to the only guy that won an election for labour in two generations.

There has to be an alternative to the likes of Cameron, Gove, and the callous bastard IDS, Millibland and the other New Labour clones are fucking clueless and spineless, Corbyn has got them all running scared.
In other words, it's all a matter of opinion.
Don't think so.Might not have been the last though. Did Lloyd George ever go full beard?
In other words, no it is not. If you have £100 and I have nothing that is a fact, the root causes in the disparity in our incomes and the reasons why you have money and I do not, or whether something should be done about it might very well be political and maybe we should open a thread about it.
But after many pages about your prudence and entrepreneurial flair and the tax you should pay and my work shy existence, the fact will remain, you will have £100 and I will have nothing.
Don't think so.
I do reckon a beard would have made Thatcher appear more feminine.
Except that none of those things you posted were absolutes, they were statements of political concepts. Poverty is a fact, wealth is a fact. A list of items that you feel need addressing (and I might even agree with you) are not.
Another fact that seems to be criminally overlooked is Corbyn's name. Jeremy is about as bourgeois a name as you can get. Worse than Gideon, I reckon.
