No, when Corbyn is wrong he's wrong and when Cameron is right he's right. Corbyn's actions were grandiose and ultimately useless, potentially making a situation worse. Cameron's were diplomatic and more importantly, he was doing his actual job that he was actually employed for.

I have the lovely position of being neither a Labour nor Conservative voter so am tied to neither ideology like literally 99% of the political posters on here and some of the shit is ridiculous.

Just because you voted Lib Dem (in a Labour stronghold let's not forget) doesn't mean you're not tied to an ideology. Like Rascal said, in some ways it doesn't matter who you vote for, especially in your case.

I've no doubt you voted Lib Dem so in a thread like this you could position yourself right in the middle and continue your self-righteous agenda of being able to attack and shoot down all sides.

As much as I don't agree with some of Rascal's socialist views or the crass nature of some of SWPs Back's boasts about wealth I've learnt more about politics from them two than I would do from a middle grounder like you.

So that 99% of "shit" adds more to the debate as a reader. This isn't the thread for you to hijack and tell people how right you are and how wrong they are.

It politics man, politics.............. (Platoon)

I think you meant UKIP. BNP are ideologically facist as far removed from Benn as near possible. UKIP voters would like Benn for his Eurosceptism but would not agree with his reasons for it.

It's almost as though votes are tied to ideologies or something

It's true, I voted for a specific party because I wanted to continue my discussion on an internet forum.

You total plank.

Oh I'm sorry, this must be the thread where you can do this instead.

It's like people on here don't even read what they are writing

All through the General Election thread you pointed out how impartial and neutrul you were when it was clear you had left leaning views.

Voting Lib Dem, effectively saying "I'm not voting" and then telling everyone about it was all in the name of cementing yourself upon the highest of all horses.

Like I say, politics threads should be all about irrational opinions and "shit" as you put it. There are no facts

You reckon they are, i know they are not.

How many on here who vote Tory would consider themselves economically attached to the Austrian school tradition.

How many Labour voters would consider themselves wedded to Marx and his road to Socialism.

As a Lib Dem do you believe in the Orange book model or are you just socially liberal.

The Tory historian and Thatcherite favorite Alan Clark argued that the only true Tory ideology is its pursuit of power and that power not principle was the driving force behind the Tory party through out the 20th century.

Your view is very simplistic and most do not have any idea of the ideology of what is behind who they vote for.
