Next Manager after Pep

This is not true.

City are able to compete in the market with Barca, Bayern ,Real due to Pep's presence. Pep at City balanced out the playing field in Europe.

Once Pep goes the situation will be back to normal again. City don't have the prestige to compete with those clubs as we saw with Mancini and Pellegrini era. The occasional elite level player + loads of OK/good players surrounding them.
That is good enough to compete in the PL but second class in CL.

It will be back to the occasional title + cup win once hes gone.

You're a fucking bundle of joy, try and curb your enthusiasm ffs .

EDIT- This is why the board pissing about in the transfer market is extremely annoying. Maximise his time here!
Utter nonsense.Pep is a pull, but we are a genuine elite club now and that will attract the best.

That’s the logic of a fan I’m afraid. We are now very much an “elite” club, as much as Barcelona, PSG and R mAdrid. The players we will sign in the future won’t have known anything different.

Players don’t care that Liverpool have won the champions league more times than us or that juventus have won the league 42 times. They want a well run club that gives them the best chance of success, a nice life and a good salary/contract. Yes, a world class manager helps but we can have our pick when Pep leaves.

Whilst these are of course halcyon days, if you think that City will regress in the long term you are not paying attention and talking the club down. We have been the most successful club in England for the last decade and the premier league is the strongest and most attractive in the world to world class players.

Star players in their early 20s have grown up in an era in which we’ve been the elite club in England and regulars in the latter stages of the CL. To them we’re every bit as prestigious as other elite European clubs especially when the peerless infrastructure at City and the general lure of the PL is taken into account.

And most importantly we have the $$$$$$

He's been watching too much rags tv and thinks Mansoor will be selling to the Glazers when Pep leaves.

I reckon it will be timed to get the bayern manager with the bad dress sense when his three years is up there
Would that make Bayern our kind of feeder club with regard to managers ?

Imagine how angry that concept would make their board :-)

Not sure if anyone's asked the question but would anybody here be opposed to be Pep taking a sabbatical with an interim manager coming in with the understanding Pep would be back after say a couple of years of good rest and golf. Am not sure what top manager would take that deal or the risks involved but in an ideal, hypothetical world would anyone be opposed? Just curious.
