Next Manager after Pep

Got to be Ten Haag for me. Stylistically the closest to Pep, attacking & visually pleasing football, ridiculous GD in their league (59F 4A), brings through youth, overperforms in the Champions League and isn’t working with a massive budget.

Also, look what he’s done with players like Haller & Blind, or De Ligt & De Jong.
And me for these reasons, if he's still available. I have a sneaking suspicion that City will, if they want him, be telling him it could be all his if he sits tight. (and who in their right mind would want that United shit show job).

Strange that City are now the third club in that Ajax-Barca connection, but a manager who trained under Pep, plays the system and philosophy, and has an outstanding record of bringing youth is almost too good to be true.

He will keep on signing extensions whilst there are dickheads out there who doubt him.
As there’s a never ending stream of dickheads who still continue to doubt him or try and belittle his achievements we will carry on benefitting from his desire to prove them wrong.
I’ll start to worry about him going when the praise starts...
Frankly, I don't think Pep cares one iota about the dickheads. He is his own man and will make up his mind without reference to any others except his family.
An equally important question is the future of Tkixi, Ferran and Khaldoon. Ferran seems committed to CFG and they might need a full time CEO which would leave a hole at City. Khaldoon is an international figure who will keep CFG in his portfolio providing a link to the government.
As for Tkixi, I have no idea. Don't forget the Sheik will soon get bored of his plaything and go elsewhere, the press keep telling us.
The future is bright provided these matters are successfully resolved over the next few years.
C'mon City!

It is not Strange, i think it's deliberate attempt to make our club into third brand of Johan Cruyff football. What Pep done to City is the same thing that happened to Barca when Cryuff is become their manager back then.

Many current rival fans or football fans on general outside City will never accept the notion that City have the same DNA the likes of Ajax and Barca have. It will takes generations, more than 40 years to finally accept that we are the third brand of that football DNA. The real DNA, not fake ass DNA that the rags propoganda machine that they spouting with.

Nothing left to prove, really? You don’t think the narrative from our esteemed sports journalists will be, “pah, 1 CL with his resources is not good enough, he’s a fraud”?
No, I think he’ll get a good response from the press in that instance praising him for his contribution to English football, sad that he’s leaving and wishing him well. After stints in Germany and England maybe he’d like to return to Spain.

I’m not sure that’s how he works, he seems to have an insatiable appetite for success. Whilst I wouldn’t rule it out, I find it more likely he’d want to win it again & again. He just loves breaking records.
You just need to see the way he celebrated Jesus’s goal of Southampton to get 100 points, it was largely irrelevant but it seemed to mean everything to him.
Talking of which, did you see the whole bench's reaction to Kev's goal against Chelsea? Demented. We are soulless, you know.

i think pep wants to be excited by the prospect of the team/squad, get the younger "future stars" of international football and i think he will stay forever, alvarez, haaland, foden, palmer and whatever else ,that's what pep loves a vision a challenge .

I think I meant strange in the sense that if you grew up watching City when I did it's strange to get your head round. But it's definitely the grand plan.
