I think I meant strange in the sense that if you grew up watching City when I did it's strange to get your head round. But it's definitely the grand plan.

It is not Strange, i think it's deliberate attempt to make our club into third brand of Johan Cruyff football. What Pep done to City is the same thing that happened to Barca when Cryuff is become their manager back then.

Many current rival fans or football fans on general outside City will never accept the notion that City have the same DNA the likes of Ajax and Barca have. It will takes generations, more than 40 years to finally accept that we are the third brand of that football DNA. If he wins the Champions League, I don't think he'll necessarily consider it job done and call it a day. There would still be plenty of targets/records to keep him motivated:

• Creating a team including: Foden, Palmer, McAtee, Lavia, Delap etc.
• Treble (Premier League, FA Cup & Champions League)
• Quadruple (including the Champions League)
• Back to back Champions League wins
• Three Premier League titles in a row (current record)
• Unbeaten season
