Personally, if I was the money man at City, I'd have already lined up Pep's replacement, and would be prepared to let him go with a paid up contract and a hearty handshake, as soon as the next man was available to start.

I think this probably has more legs than people realise or want - not a big name but liked by the city management team and has done well with other teams without spending anywhere near as much.
