Next Rail Strikes Announced.

i'm driving to Manchester at the weekend, i'll worry about local travel when i get there. then a train from heaton chapel to piccadilly or failing that the 192 bus and cab/walk. depends.
Can't see any trains running from Heaton Chapel on the app today. So its the 192 to Piccadilly, or as I call it, the United Nations Fun Bus.

The other option would be 192 to Levenshulme then get the 171 or 172 from Albert Road, the stop is outside Levenshulme Station and runs every half hour on a Saturday. It takes about half an hour and drops you off at the Clayton Hall Tram stop which is down Ashton New Road from the ground. If your early enough, there are a few watering Holes close by, The Con Club opposite the Tram Stop and The Bridge, the Vic and the Grove.

Sadly not, even though the strikes were called off yesterday, they said it was "too late" to resume normal services today. Free day off for the rail workers!
Would appear, according to the National Rail app that they won’t even be back to normal on Monday.
