Next season and scoring more goals?

Aguero without injuries, Tevez not stuck on the bench, no Balotelli to cause disruption. Then bring in another top striker, 2 if possible. Left & right wingers to play on their natural wings. & De Jong get him back.

Ok this season hasnt gone to plan and we havent got anywhere near the silky free flowing football of last season but what are the reasons?.For starters we just arent putting our ratio of chances away and world class players like silva, nasri and aguero really should be scoring more goals. There are lots of talk about city getting transfer targets in early this year with players like lewandowski, cavani and neymar being linked. If we do get both cavani and lewandowski where would this leave sergio agguueeerooo!!.For me we need to address the lack of goals adding width and strength up front. Also nasri and silva must surely be encouraged to shoot more because they should easily be getting 10-15 goals in this team with there ability. We will settle for second place and the fa cup this year and prepare ourselves for wrestling the prem back to manchester next season.

A new striker
A top midfield player
Central Defender
Attacking wode player

Outs

Kolo
Dzeko
Sinclair
Rodwell or Garcia dont care - one is permantly injured the other is not good enough

Need to improve our results against six teams

Rags
Arsenal
Chelsea
Spuds
Everton
Liverpool

Last season I reckon we collected 26 points, this season 12. Fourteen points down same number of points behind rags. Rags improved their points total we didn't. Cavani, Reus and Popodopoulis may change that. (IMO)

We need strength in Depth. We don't have it - especially if Silva is injured.
Aguero & Silva injuries cost us dearly. Especially in the CL.
We need two AMs at least (three if Nasri goes) - Please let one be Erikson (Ajax).
A striker who WILL score 20 goals a season even if he misses a third of it through injury.
We also need a Free kick specialist - Baines?

The problem is we haven't got a striker, Agueroooooo and Tevez play more like traditional No.10's meaning we have Silva as the furthest forward player at times. If we had more energetic midfielders making runs in behind then it wouldn't be a problem but when you have Agueroooooo, Tevez, Silva, Nasri and occasionally Yaya all competing for the same space it slows the tempo down because there is no outlet and therefore no variety in our attacking play. To add more pace and directness we have to sacrifice one or two of that quartet and it sure as hell won't be Agueroooooo or Silva.

Let me see,

Aguero had a down year, injuries didn't help, but his conversion rate on clear chances is simply too low. Needs to improve.

David Silva needs to step up. He is third behind Mata and Carzola in the 3 Spanish Magicians race. Simply put David doesn't score enough! He needs to chip in with 8 to 12 goals a season. Like Carzola and Mata do. We keep saying we have the best of the 3 yet he seems to be producing the least. And dont bring up the injury either. Sure injury didn't help this season, but even on his best form 2 seasons ago, he was barely putting in 5 goalss. Didn't Mata score double that in 1 hot month?

Nasri, just not productive enough.

And when we don't have Yaya, Silva and Nasri playing, we are often a distointed club. Meaning we don't have a good number of technical players on the team. Hence why Dzeko, Kolarov, Lescott, and Kolo should all be moved on and replaced with better skilled players.

Don't get Cavani- He looksa system player.

A true striker told to be a focal point (Cavani) who has pace with aguero and tevez off him and silva behind would get goals galore

Jesus!!...Aguero Cavani Tevez wow that would be like what they had at Napoli accept the 2.0 version and with yaya and silva in support..that to me sounds like a title winning team and possible qtr final champions league run at least

With no Dzeko I can't see Tevez and Aguero scoring enough goals to win league title. We need Ronaldo or Bale to assist the strikers.

17 points we have taken from them games

I was quiet happy with taking 4 points off chelsea and 4 off arsenal,i would take that every season
Getting 3 points off the rags isnt all that bad, even 3 off spurs isnt disastrous
I agree with everton, and in the end we did well to take 2 points off liverpool after them outplaying us home and away

I dont think its results against the big clubs which have cost us tbh mate.
