getting out of the group stages of the CL is an absolute must

We need to finish this season well to put us in a position to challenge for next season. If we qualify for the Champions League, we need an early win to settle the players who seem to play those games with a lot of nerves. Wont be easy as we'll get a tough draw again.

League is more important.

Also worth remembering that City have to meet UEFA break even target of 45m Euro loss, and at the moment we lost £97m up to May 2012, and Soriano said recently these losses are at £50m. We can exclude infrastructure spend from these figures, but even so I still think City will be operating under a budget. Unfortunate we only got £20M for Mario. It will cost double to replace him. But he had to go at the time.

For me, Win the PL and get out of group stages of CL. Anything else would be a big bonus :)

What would you be happy with at the end of next season?

Yes things will change, signings etc so expectations etc but right now what are your expectations/what would you be happy with?

PL - Win
Fa Cup - QF+
LC - QF+
CL - Last 16+

The expectations for this club are to be the same every season forever more:
Challenge for the title, if we don't challenge make sure we finish in the top 3
Try and get as far as we can in the cup comps as possible.

That's it.

If we go two, or maybe even three, seasons without a trophy we should look at changing the management team. But hopefully the most we ever go is one season here and there (and when that happens it's not the end of the world - many teams, even better than us, have a bad season here and there).

Anything less than 1st in the premier league has to be a disappointment really. That's the number 1 priority for me, at least until we've won another half a dozen titles.
