Next season expectations

Post subject: Next season expectations

Now limited by; the failings of last summer's window, a manager who will not change and many players who are simply not good enough and/or past their sell-by-date.
There's just too much work to do and too big an overhaul necessary over the summer to try to make up for lost time.
If, as I imagine will happen, we keep Mancini and only buy three new players - who wont be the world class one's we are hoping for - then I predict EXACTLY THE SAME AS THIS SEASON, EXCEPT ONE PLACE LOWER!
3rd Premier League

Because we lost so much time, the best players will not come to us as they will view us having a lack of ambition. Where once we could have bribed them by paying astronomical wages - this is no longer an option.
Sadly we still have the same 2nd rate players languishing on those laughable wages that we're now saddled with.

In order to improve? Sack Mancini, Platt and Kidd for starters. Sell: Barry,Lescott,Garcia,Kolarov,Sinclair,Nasri,Dzeko,Rodwell, one of aguero/tevez,Kolo Toure,.
Then as a priority BUY A WORLD CLASS CENTRE BACK. Also, a proper all round centre forward and a midfield 'general'. In other words - rebuild the spine of the team..............................

How precise.
Im curious why you would want to sell off all them players and one of Aguero, Tevez..... Kolo?

What on earth do those 3 have in common?

I think it's the way he constructed the sentence, to be honest. I think what he was trying to say was sell Kolo and one of Carlos/Kun hence the apostrophe rather than the slash between ''Tevez'' and ''Kolo''). Perhaps he would have been better listing Kolo in the middle of all those other players he wants to see sold.

Heavily dependant on ins and outs but:

1. Regain the title
2. Get out of the CL group

And then see how the cups go as a bonus but if the above happen there will be no pressure and certainly in the League Cup we can give some youngsters a chance.

1. Retake the title
2. Out of group stages in cl
3. Good domestic cup runs reaching at least 1 final
4. More settled squad (aka no last minute jobbies so the team can gel with any new faces and the loss of others)
5. An elaboration of 4, no disjointed awkward playing styles seemingly hindering us. Back to the first half of last season playing wise please :)

first things first, i would like Ric to add a "filter" to the board that seeks out and destroys any reference to "them"

I want City to become remorseless, to develop a style that is recognisable, that makes teams sick at the thought of playing us( bit like the red dippers at their peak, and the arse for a short while)

Imo we are several players short at the mo but if we get the right signings we will dominate and the trophies will follow

Next season has to show we are getting there, and that will do for me
