Next seasons home shirt (allegedly)

I don't know what the fuss is. Sure, it's not the kit I'd hoped for but it's not that bad honestly. Worst of it is wrong colour sleeves and I can live with that for a season.

The fuss is this season we are being somewhat rebranded new social media moniker andnew badge. Unless the club are made aware this new kit template is not liked then whats not to say blue/blue/white doesn't become part of that mini rebrand and our permament kit template
blue/white/blue is Manchester City and always should be

Because we kept getting bad results wearing the dark blue and good results wearing the lemon one, it was strongly rumoured the players favoured the lemon as in being supersticious or whatever. It was evenmore so highlighted when we played the all white Swansea away in our last game where normally wed've dressed up in the awaykit, not the 3rd.

Thanks : )

Yes looks better now i've seen it on Serge.
Confident we'll go to a blue/white colour scheme again next season, which is what we all want.

Relax. Pep Guardiola is our manager and i'm sure we're going to win a lot of games and cups.
Lets put things into perspective.

I just hope everyone doesn't boo when its unveiled. Wouldn't that make us all look like a set of crybaby dick heads? What's Pep going to think he's been landed with!

Here's the best manager for you at the best training complex, he's got a ton of money to spend, we've changed the badge to a design that the majority wanted, but give us shit because Nike used a template they are committed to and paired it with a colour associated with MCFC. For a season.

Why are people discussing the home shirt? At least it's not the away. Yucking outrageous.

Official now...

As suspected, Sergio can make anything look good... however it's still not 'City' for me!
As I've said many times, it's nice, it's just not City!

All of this isn't strictly true though is it? In Spain, Atletico Madrid are referred to as Atletico. Real are known as Madrid. Referring to Atletico as just Madrid would get the back up of any self respecting Colchonero.
Similarly in Italy, AC are known as Milan or Milano. Us English called the blue and blacks Inter Milan but their official name is Internazionale.
Today I flicked my desktop calendar over to July and was met with a picture of Bert Trautmann flying through the air with a backdrop of a packed, uncovered Kippax terrace. There at the top, proudly fluttering in the Moss Side breeze was a giant flag with the legendary "CITY FC" emblazoned across it.
I think some of our fans have worried about the other lot far too much over the years and feel that if we don't slap the name of our city across everything, people might forget that we are from Manchester.
Yep. "Atléti" is what Atlético Madrid are known as.

We'll have to live with it for a season but I certainly hope it proves to be a poor seller so that the club understand it is not what the supporters expect of our kit.

In my opinion it is one of the worst kits in our history, not only because of the haphazard colour scheme (if you could even call it that), but because we'll have the same kit as every other Nike outfitted club. That's not even taking into account the horrendous away kit—I think that was designed via random template element colour assigner to reduce costs.

To be honest, even if we win the treble in it (I'm keeping my expectations low ;-) ) I wouldn't buy it—I'll just go for one of the retro shirts and see if I can get it signed on holiday (I've been exiled to the US where all the young lads seem to love the new shirt... Shudders).
