Next seasons home shirt (allegedly)

We'll have to live with it for a season but I certainly hope it proves to be a poor seller so that the club understand it is not what the supporters expect of our kit.

In my opinion it is one of the worst kits in our history, not only because of the haphazard colour scheme (if you could even call it that), but because we'll have the same kit as every other Nike outfitted club. That's not even taking into account the horrendous away kit—I think that was designed via random template element colour assigner to reduce costs.

To be honest, even if we win the treble in it (I'm keeping my expectations low ;-) ) I wouldn't buy it—I'll just go for one of the retro shirts and see if I can get it signed on holiday (I've been exiled to the US where all the young lads seem to love the new shirt... Shudders).

that's the problem, Nike are changing our identity to go after new fans who just want something funky and different to wear, and have no understanding or interest in our real identity. Nike are catering to a market that isn't City fans.

The womens' team play Villa today. I like the new Villa Under Armour away shirt. It could be City. I used to like the maroon colour we had in our strip when I was a kid.

Yes looks better now i've seen it on Serge.
Confident we'll go to a blue/white colour scheme again next season, which is what we all want.

Relax. Pep Guardiola is our manager and i'm sure we're going to win a lot of games and cups.
Lets put things into perspective.

I just hope everyone doesn't boo when its unveiled. Wouldn't that make us all look like a set of crybaby dick heads? What's Pep going to think he's been landed with!

Here's the best manager for you at the best training complex, he's got a ton of money to spend, we've changed the badge to a design that the majority wanted, but give us shit because Nike used a template they are committed to and paired it with a colour associated with MCFC. For a season.
So, their template's all looking the same is more important than over 100 years of tradition and we should just take on the chin because we have a new manager?

Fuck Nike!

I won't be there to boo but I wish I was going. That must make me 'a wanna be crybaby dickhead'.

Supporters who respect their heritage maybe?

when you dont know where you come from, you dont know where your'e going. we are the "sleeping giant" that was bought because of our potential. that potential was because of our fan base, which in turn comes from our history. ( it wasnt the ground or the squad of players we had). So listen to us City, we are Sky/cornflower/light etc Blue....AND WHITE.

Our heritage is our heritage, it can't be changed, but our future can be. We're not St Mark's anymore and we don't play at Maine Road anymore either, but that heritage hasn't gone away, it'll always be with us.
I don't much like the new kit myself, but things change, and we've had worse kits! far worse!

Why the yellow, just make it white for gods sake,i would buy it then
Change the yellow to white, slap the sponsor on, reverse the colours on a pair of shorts and we'd be sorted.

Minus that badge of course.
