I mean how sick would these be in City Blue tint and white instead of black (and our crest, or a ship instead of that sunburst from their flag)
Puma Puma Puma!!!

I find the lack of nipples, disturbing.

The only issue i have with Puma kits is that they have about 20 Puma logo's on them, like they are trying to scream they are PUMA PUMA PUMA!!! to get attention that they make kits. They need to have more faith in themselves and know they have good kits without threatening a hissy fit like a child.

Less is more classy.

In relation to shirt sales our deal is probably the most inflated out of that lot. We sell nothing in comparison to the other 4. Our value is in the brand, at the time of the Nike deal it was a fair price. Obviously since then we've grown hugely, established ourselves in the elite and have become Nike's sole representative in the league which all make our deal seem pitiful and it is, but at the time it wasn't. Nike aren't forced to renegotiate, if they decide to go with Chelsea and put all their eggs in that basket then you can't really blame them, afterall they'll make more money from them. We'll simply have to suck it up until the contract is up

its getting to a point where its a case of making a lot of money of shirt sales if you have a range of iffy kits, or have less money with traditional City kits.

if Nike are that good at marketing and selling shirts, why cant we make money on traditional City kits??
They probably use the same team of designers that regularly come out with ranges of orange and green runners and are too cheap to hire more.

Everyone seems to have a problem with Nike kits, but why.
Looking back at Umbro, some are terrible. The strippy ones in the mid 80's look awful.

I seriously have no idea as to the issue with this year's kit. Is it that you all like to moan about something

Don't think anybody did have a problem with this seasons kit design did they? Sky Blue Shirts and Socks, White Shorts... that's exactly what it should be. The kit I had a problem with was last seasons all sky blue with navy trim... simply due to the lack of white. Our primary colours are sky blue and white - navy is a secondary colour, so for me if they go for all sky blue, white has to be the main trim colour.
The problem I have with Nike is that their shirts, though dearer, are inferior in quality to the last lot of Umbro ones we had.

As for kit sales highlighted - trying to find accurate figures is tricky, the numbers fluctuate from site to site. The reports that Chelsea out sold the rags is misleading, as the figure is in £'s - they made more money than the rags, but their shirts probably cost more. I've also found a site that said Leicester sold 350,000 shirts... WTF!!!
All that said, I still don't understand the surge in popularity for Chelsea... i'm guessing there's a huge stockpile of them in a warehouse somewhere in Russia!
