Next seasons home shirt (allegedly)

Whereas you being cross about it will make them change it now when it's gone into production.

Changes nothing now, but it can have an influence on future kits if we let the club know how we feel... look what happened with the club badge!
The kit is an important part of our identity – arguably the biggest part, and it needs sorting out - especially in today's world of social media, live streaming etc. etc.

Three? Really..? In two seasons? How've they managed that?

Edit that... looks like only one kit (just changed socks)...

They've had 1 home kit and 2 away kits..

It's not the be-all and end-all to us fans, but you can bet the club takes more than a passing interest in sales numbers, and there's no chance of improved kit deals if we don't sell shirts!
I don't think the number of shirts sold is based on whether the shirt is any good or not, the name on the badge or on the back is more influential on sales.

How many it sells doesn't make much difference, only what Nike pay us. I don't believe the club has much influence over the kit, they've sold that control to Nike.
I'm hoping the reason we haven't renegotiated a better deal with Nike is we are looking elsewhere. Don't forget we didn't choose Nike, they took over the Umbro deal when they dumped Umbro. I know we extended the deal at the time which in hindsight may have been a mistake.
I can't remember how long the current deal has to run. Or whether it would be worth breaking the deal as Chelsea have.
Trouble is to go to who ? Adidas are going to just one team umbro and macron etc don't have the outlets to get the shirts into every sports shop and best stay clear of puma unless you have a six pack !

The only player I can see pulling this shirt off is......Paul. More of a reason now.

Exactly, look at the state of some of the Rags' kits recently (tea towel one and the black V), and I bet they still sold loads. We'll still sell plenty of Aguero, De Bruyne etc. shirts, despite this new shirt being shite.

The casuals in America & Asia will love it, and that's all Soriano gives a fuck about.
