Have been told by an avid Dutch league follower that Vertonghen is not having a good season for Ajax either and has not repeated his great form from last season. He's playing in a league where one of our kids is among the top few strikers, is he really worth going all out for?

Neymar already has a deal signed with Barcelona. The Deal was made in Japan during the Club World Cup. Barcelona gave Santos €10m as a kind of deposit on Neymar and they can bring him to Barcelona anytime between now and 2014 for an undisclosed agreed fee. If Santos sell him to anyone else during that time, Santos have to pay Barca €20m compensation,

Lol! I still hold on to my opinion from the summer that we were wasting time waiting on Nasri when we should have just gone for Mata. But that said, I love his movement. Anytime he gets into the box he cuts wide open. See for example the shot Gardner cleared off the line today. Tha movement had him wide open. He does this 5-6 times a game. Half the time the ball doesn't come. Also there was this sequence in the fiest half where he and Yaya did that wierd thing Barca does, where 2 players pass close to each other and both make sudden moves in succession. On both occasions we wee behind Sunderland quick. Don't sleep on this guys intelligence.Results are not coming his way but the intelligence is off the charts.

As for Vertonghen, you just wait till Arsenal gets him, then we'll start trying to pry him off them for 30 miliion. When we can easily have him for 12 now.

Neymar? The 19 yearold boy is phenomenal. People underate his vision, passing skills, speed and movement. I haven't seen any like it since Messi bust onto the seen in 2005 at the u20's.

Don't think he will ever become that good, coz he hs that entitlement streak, sort of like Mario. But, lord if he does, I'd love it to be here :)

He is playing as well as he did last season. Still fantastic on the ball, still a deadly option on set pieces (both shooting and heading), still banging in goals, and still making those amazing pinpoint passes from the back. Something we have no one capable of doing at the moment. We really need this guy.

Why the resistance, baffles me. :?

That's the story I heard on SSN also, but some on here are saying the Santos President is denying this now??
He won't come here anyway IMO, and personally don't want him here. Talented yes, but he would get smashed to pieces in the PL.
