I think people forget City are a business, the aim is to make money and there’s no doubting that signing Neymar makes money. We get opened up to a huge fan base in Brazil, shirt sales, sponsorships and he’d be the face of Etihad/Abu Dhabi I’m sure. For us fans Haaland is a huge buy and statement piece, but for the club Neymar would dwarf that commercially and that’s the aim of the game for those at the top.
Neymar would sit bums on empty seats, he’d have sponsors lining up for him and us… I also read yesterday he’s a Puma athlete which then opens other doors for us as a club.
He a risk no doubt, but a calculated one and makes more sense now than Messi did last season or the season before that.
How many shirts abroad do you think you’ll see with Neymar on the back if he joined? I couldn’t guess but it’d be a lot! Fans are moaning about him diving but Fernandinho did exactly the same lol. He’d not be the first to do it and won’t be the last. He just needs to learn to be cute about it.

Anyone who saw the shop last Sunday with Haaland sales will understand the difference between a superstar and our own stars. The money it generates through sales and sponsors will be unreal. Got to trust Pep to maximise it from The pitch to the boardroom. And who better to do it.

Again there is no news about Neymar today from reliable sources. I don't think we are interested.
 
I'd want him just because there is nothing better than watching a truly talented skilful player in full flight.

He can do things on the ball that very few can.

Despite all that I'm well aware that we'd still have much better players in the squad because they work harder and defend better.

Ultimately if Pep wants him, then that's all that matters.

Because some German newspapers told about Gnabry-City connection. There is no news about Neymar, except here. I dont know who is 93:20blue but i dont trust him, sorry.
 
I can't wait to see his delicate through balls to the other forwards, his tireless grafting defending from the front and his modesty and assertion that he's just part of a team.

Or am I getting him confused with someone else?
 
It’s a yes as it isn’t us going all in or dependent on one player elevating us, it works then we unquestionably go up a level, a damp squid and we can put it down as a failed venture that won’t invariably impact the outcomes as it will be nipped in the bud, especially the way we are run today…

It ain’t happening regardless but if opportunity did knock, why the fuck wouldn’t we?
