It’s pretty obvious there were rumours - ‘Neymar’ and ‘Neymar to City’ was trending on Twitter last Thursday. Just because it’s not been written in a paper, doesn’t mean it’s not a rumour.

Ironically, now this French report has come out I bet we do see it mentioned by one of the usual sources at some point in passing rather than it being made a big story of.

I'm not being contentious, I'm not baiting either. There was no rumour. Fans talking about it on forums, social media, and that trending is nothing of a rumour that anyone in the media even bothered picking up let alone the club commenting on.

That said the timing of this exchange sways it anyway, as the 'equippe claims coming out now don't appear to be based on what was said on here, presumably. So now you might have yourself a rumour. And maybe gives 93.20 something to say he Had heard things rather than making it up.

PSG must think we're as fuckin stupid as they look! I'm not averse to Neymar coming here, but the fee & wages would have to be planet earth based realism & not outer space fantasy as they've done with Neymar, Messi & now Mbappé.

And they keep accusing City of ruining football... :-/

I think it's the wages that's the issue really. Even if they do offload De Jong and his wages, they'd be in a worse situation money wise if they took Neymar.

Barca are trying to sell their entire Barca studios which is their Graphics design company they have a mad man in charge. If offered Neymar that mad man would get it done probably sell the stadium next
