Neymar

Clearly going to have to pay more attention to Neymar.
So far I've just seen a showboating haircut.
A few tricks and clearly a decent player but hype over substance.
Will come back to admit I was wrong no doubt.

And falls over like a Rag! I mean dives like a RAG CNUT

It's a bit rich that La Liga are complaining about "financially-doped" teams given the way their TV revenue is shared (not to mention Real Madrid's dubious training ground sale in 2000).

I've just seen Klopps comments alongside those of La Liga. It's taken a while and a huge transfer fee but the mask has finally slipped. We all knew FFP was introduced by the cartel, to stop the likes of us and PSG taking over, but they maintained its was to stop clubs spending beyond their means. Klopp and La Liga have clearly forgotten the narrative.
Just seen this on the FFP thread in the main forum, frankly I'm staggered I genuinely thought klippety had a bit more intelligence. Dippers crown slipped, what 25 years or more ago and it looks increasingly unlikely that they'll get it back any time soon . Success to an extent determines a football clubs abilities to maximise revenue, less kids grow up supporting them, companies feel less inclined to part with significant sums to associate with them. Whilst Liverpool are hardly a 'likkle' club they are behind us in every facet and the gap is getting bigger and it looks increasingly likely the only way they'll ever catch us up is they choose to break the very rules the scruffy german seems to be defending.

Agreed, especially given the fact that the La Liga president is a Real Madrid fan! Staggering hypocrisy

And there's also the ongoing court case where barcelona, Neymar and ex-presidents are accused of fraud in under reporting the original neymar purchase so as to reduce payments to his then owners.

And the fact they kept smashing transfer records.

So what do PSG or Neymar do now, surely legal action?

Not sure what the rules are but it would be funny if PSG claim that Barca/La Liga are breaching Neymar's contract and try to get him to terminate it, so they can get him for for free.

Out of interest, what's the situation between Spain and Qatar in terms of sanctions these days?

Barca had no problem taking their sponsorship cash a few years back, but it seems La Liga could argue they won't accept money from a state that supports terrorists.

IF they can prove the money has come directly from Qatar and not from PSG's own finances(which is won't have).
