Neymar

It may be more competitive, the difference between the best and worst teams may be smaller, that doesn't make it easier to win.

Can we just agree to disagree - we like our league and thats that.

Is this 11 pages based on the appearance of Pep in his home town airport? You people have lost it again.

I wouldn't go anywhere near Neymar tbh, he looks like he's going the typical brazilian route of pissing away his talent now that he's got to the top. Fantastic player who could easily become the best in the world if he had the right head on his shoulders, but what bits and pieces I've heard make him sound like he's not doing things right behind the scenes and fancies a good time a bit too much. It would be a hell of a gamble, the amount he'd cost, I'd be very surprised if he's still a top player by the time he's in his late 20's

Surly the top teams would thrash the stiffs and the league will depend on results against the other top 5 teams.
Don't they do head to head as goal difference is no guide as there are so many bum teams.

Exactly what I was getting at a Brazilian Mario type of character would you say ?

No one in their right mind is going to agree with him being a brazilian mario, they have literally nothing in common except a love of changing hairstyles every month.

It's the worst comparison since Joe Allen was called "The Welsh Xavi"

You best tell big Oscar he's not in his right mind as his post above could be describing Mario

What we all need to know is if he is any good at getting down the left wing, standing still with the ball, waiting for Kolarov to run past then passing it to him.

The prospect of Neymar at City doesn't excite me. Is there something wrong with me there?

If we went for Messi, we're going for yesterday's star at this point.

If we went for Suarez, it'd be a complete waste of money for what he has left in him. Plus, he's a ****.

If we want another Tevez type player to link up with Kun shouldn't we be looking at Correa again?

so why's all the elite players going to other leagues..
seems like the epl cant attract the elite players anymore

Which players are you referring to? And I am not saying the 'EPl' as you put it, is superior to La Liga. I am merely pointing out the fact that many of the elite managers in the world want to manage here. That in itself speaks volumes.

Looking at the rest of your post, yes, there's something wrong with you.

Messi, yesterday's star???

Well, he sooner rather than later would be I mean. If we bought him now, it'd be monumental yes but in a few years he's the star of yesteryear - there'll be a new world star. I think it's more in our interests to prepare for when that new world star reveals himself. I'm not convinced it's Neymar.

I feel Pogba could be a Zidane yet though.

That's Father Time for you, all greats will decline although Messi's still got a few years at 28. The next world star btw is Brahim Diaz, thus it is written.

He's 29 this month. Also from recent-ish quotes I get the feeling Brahim will go to Barca at some point. He sounded like his intentions here were developmental only.

Europa League final 7th v 8th seems like a fair match up and the Spanish side come out on top.

But were beaten home and away in their Champions League group by a certain English side.
See there are arguments to all sides of football. Don't think anyone is saying La Liga is shit.
Just that over a full season it is more competitive. Not better, not worse. Just a bit harder
physically. Pointless trying to compare teams when they never play each other.

Wont happen and whether we are trying to make it ha

ppen are two entirely different things. So who is embarrassing themselves? Isnt this a forum for discussion of all potential transfers and rumours etc?

But yeah, we're still little City in your mind and should be balls deep for Andy Carroll.

ps we signed Ilkay Gundongan today. Beat Bayern for DeBruyne and Aguero has been here for half a decade. Time to stop embarrassing yourself by acting like we cant look at a player like Neymar.

Lol at assuming I don't think we will sign Neymar because I've apparently got ikkle city syndrome. Wrong

What exactly are the smoke signals that you've mentioned in your original post, that supposedly indicate that we might sign Neymar?
