For me it will like watching a cup final between the rags and the dippers. Always been an NFC fan and still think that Montana is a better QB than Brady. Will go for the Chiefs because of Mahonnes and the rag connection at the Buccs.

I don’t mind any major US sports. I’ve been to a baseball game in Arizona and also went to see the lakers last year at staples, both good atmosphere. What does really grind me is how they claim a winner of a super bowl or final is a world champion.

The marketing is great though, the same reason people watch the 6 nations not understanding offside and moaning when a penalty is given "what was that for".

Those man mountains, padded up to the nth degree, couldn't serve up drama like that.

Great memories. Sat in a bar in Majorca with my daughter. Cricket on one screen and City/Bournemouth next to it. Bar was absolutely dead when the footie came on but as it finished the cricket was just ramping up. By the time we won the place was absolutely rocking.

If only I'd known that would be the last time I'd get abroad for a couple of years I'd have stayed!

Sounds like a pretty good deal for the Lions. Add their own high end 1st round pick and they could be doing a lot of good rebuild work.
