NFL 2021/22

Bills will be contending next year again, too good a QB and team, unlucky to be out due to a toss.

I rarely watch football but this collection of playoff games this weekend has to be the four greatest combined in history. Absolutely remarkable stuff.
To think the four away teams and significant underdogs almost pulled off wins with all games a one score game.

the defence of Bills and Chiefs collapsed in the last quarter so the coin toss was going to decide this one.

Always pick heads as they say.

rec'g team on a kick-off can fair catch the ball, killing the clock - and a ground-kick doesn't eat up enough of the field

you can squib it hard enough to get it to the 30 yard line and as soon as they touch it the clock starts so instead of 13 seconds from the 20 they’d have 5 or 6 from the 30 - one Hail Mary chance

Gutted. Thought we’d won it twice. That was a sickener, like City of old!! Chocking at the last hurdle
Bills fans (and Sabres fans too if you want) are the hardest-luck fans in the USA, not just because of the records of their teams (zero Super Bowls — though they won the AFC before the merger — and zero Stanley Cups) but because Buffalo is a hardscrabble place, losing population for going on 50 years, cold and dark all winter, and the teams are such an incredible unifier to the city. A very large portion of America would root for them against almost anyone else save a hometown team I’d bet.
