The Raiders aren't brilliant, put it that way. Haha! They'll probably end up with a very high draft pick next year, maybe even number 1.
Pretty hardcore fanbase though from what I've seen, I think most people from LA still support them from when they were based there.
Raiders have been getting steadily better since Al Davis is out of the picture, they have a good young roster.
2011: 8-8 (Davis dies in October of that season
2012: 4-12
They have 1 decent receiver, a good running back in McFadden and yet another different QB under centre. Along with the departure of McClain.
They'll be picking top 10, and I'm being generous, next season. I'll bet on it.

As a franchise they would compare to Chelsea maybe. Because the owner was really running the club and constatnly fearing(Al Davis). But he died recently so things will probably by run differently now. They are a club with great history. Won several championships and we're always a top club until the last 10 years. They were still running the team the way they did in the '70's and refused to with the times. The Raiders have been in love with speed. Would routinely draft the fastest player regardless weather he could play or not. They could have a 3rd round grade but they would take him in the top 10 because he ran a 4.2 40 yard dash. Also had a history of signing troubled players. Discapline issues etc.. Is there a PL club that would compare?
