Best of luck to the lad hope we see a lot more from him

but wont be seeing him in the superbowl anytime soon as the Raiders not only have a poor team but are paying millions out to high draft picks that were busts and arnt with the team any longer .they made some nice moves this year but were talkin at least 4 years before they anywhere near playoffs IMO.
Raiders fans are more and more like Milwalls every week ,they always had a reputation of being a dirty team on the field (they were the Leeds of the 70s won everything but would kick lumps out of the opposition ) but ever since the Silver and Black was adopted by the LA rap scene in the 80's when the were in LA they've attracted huge "wanna be gangsta" element that show up at games ,mostly trouble starts at Charger games between Latino gangs who always seem to clash even fighting so called fans of their own team ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SEdSwP07Kc

Re: NFL Draft & Menelik Watson (City Related)

Ha ha, was asked why he chose City over United. His response "because Manchester United sucks".

Been a Raiders fan since the LA days. Not expecting much but good to have a blue on board.

Raiders have had a decent draft so far. If they are as bad as I think they will be in 2013 and they draft Clowney, Philip Rivers might as well quit now because he is going to suffer in a division with Clowney and Miller

PS very happy with the Chargers choices. Looks like we have three first round talents

Raiduhs fan...somehow I'm not surprised. A complete mess of an NFL franchise. At least with the passing of bat-shit crazy Al Davis, Reggie McKenzie (GM) is now busily remediating this toxic-waste dump site of a team. Shedding huge salary-cap commitments and now finally getting some draft choices to work with, he's beginning to make a little headway but it will take years to right this leaky ship. Think Leeds after the crash from the CL a few seasons ago...

For all those misguided Prem clubs who voted for the recent wage controls, the Raiduhs are a perfect example that even a salary cap cannot protect a club from terrible fiscal impacts of disastrous personnel mistakes.

Fluker is an ORT - cannot possibly be an OLT. Powerful run-blocker, but I'm not sure he has quick enough feet to pass protect at the highest level. Might be shifted inside to G, where he would be an absolute beast. Te'o, of imaginary dead girlfriend fame, should be a very good two-down ILB, but will have to be removed on passing downs. A nice successor to the late Junior Seau. Keenan Allen was a terrific WR at Cal, and if fit, will be a very good NFL possession guy. As a lifelong KC fan, I think the Chargers have had an excellent draft, even if they didn't get the OLT they need. Maybe Chiefs and Chargers should work a deal sending disgruntled OLT Branden Albert from KC to SD to protect blind side of Rivers?

wow check the raider hate on here, i'd have thought city fans might be a bit more empathetic to a team with a rich history going through a tough time

Can't think of anything more appropriate than for a boy from longsight to play in front of those fans

Really cheered me up this and great publicity for city over there - things can turn round quick in the NFL

As a Chiefs fan since the late 1960's, I actually am sympathetic to the Raiduhs, mainly because I feel sorry for their fanbase, one of the best in all of Yank pro sports. Raiduhs won't contend for at least 3 seasons, but Reggie McKenzie is a very talented GM, and will bring the franchise back, if given time. I'll definitely follow and support Menelik Watson, who is very raw, but has great athletic potential. Very nice pick for the Raiduhs, but where are the DL's for next season?

I bet you and I have the same opinion of the Broncs, eh?!
