Niall Quinn

Bingo... He grew up a rag

Sounds like complete bollocks, he was unpopular with united fans for his anti united bias at first and apparently changed his tune a bit.

If you wouldn't do it for the same money I would reckon you are chatting rhubarb. Never heard him commentate myself, or realised it was him if I did, maybe thought it was Jim Beglin etc.

Bloody hell just read the last few pages. Think we sound a bit bitter. I have watched him all weekend. The score did flatter us a little. Quinn just has to appear impartial.

The score didn't flatter us. We worked hard for that score line. Niall Quinn can suck on a scrotum

Agree with you Bob.
We dominated Stoke for at least 70 mins and ran them into the ground.
If the scum win 4-1 at the home of the six fingered ones it will be touted as a magnificent result no doubt...

I'm going off what my cousins in Dublin said, one who is an Irish international goal keeper at youth level and the other who played football for 'tech' in Dublin football (and same age as Quinn). He most certainly isn't a City fan... So in this order he is likely to be one of Utd , Pool, Arse or Leeds...

When he was chairman at Sunderland he was the only one to lend city a keeper in 2010 on and emergency loan when our first two keepers were injured which speaks volumes. I doubt he was a supporter of any English football club, seems a genuine guy not a plastic. In his autobiography he does carry on about the Keane 2002 stuff too much, but that was a good selling point at the time. He seemed to have a healthy dislike of united, especially after the game he got several goals disallowed which he ref later apologised for.

One of my heros as a kid growing up! "Lacks the stardust that's at old Trafford " what a ****

He was a nice guy when we were all invited to the training camp in Italy 1992. Had a photo with him, genuine fella.
My cousins are reds... I find it hard to believe a kid in Dublin didn't follow an English club when so many do.
Maybe he supports Rovers, St Pats, Bohs, Shelbourne? Who knows?

I always find Quinny ok but his stupendous buddy Martin T was proper brown-nosing on Friday night

I spoke to a bloke at City a few years ago, during at tour of the ground about how City are treated in the media. I said about ex players like Quinn and Mills always having a pop but he did say Quinn was a nice guy. He also said as a player he would, without fuss or publicity, help out in the soup kitchens in Manchester. No defence of Danny Mills mind .

Sky needs utd fans more than us. They are the ones paying the subscriptions. We city fans either go or use Kodi.

Quinn is toeing the line.

But I will question the score line at Stoke comment. Watch the highlights. Stoke had one shot and that was the penalty.

We dominated possession and always looked like we have a couple of gears to get to which we will see soon.

i quote Garth Crooks team of the week and Aguero

The referees' new directive this season could not have been clearer - any holding in the penalty area will be penalised. The Stoke City centre-back seemed to completely disregarded the warning and handed Manchester City and Sergio Aguero in particular the perfect gift. The infringement provided the catalyst for one of the most comprehensive demolition jobs I have seen for some time. Aguero is once again on cue for another 25 goals this season. If the Argentine were to reach that incredible landmark for the fifth consecutive campaign we may have to consider him Premier League player of the decade, never mind the season.

now that's how you call it Mr Quinn say what you see

I can't believe how few have commented in a similar way to our performance. Stoke raise their game for top teams at home. We played (and won) away in Europe then took the game away from them. Any team would be delighted winning there 1-4.
