Well done Wigan.

I saw the 2nd Jan 1971 match at Maine Rd when we beat them 1-0.

Payback I suppose.

Yes I did as well and we struggled that day to, until the King scored

Can't knock em really.
They did what they had to do, and put in one hell of a fucking shift.
Hope they stay up.

Well done to Wigan, good for Martinez, what a class guy. McManamann dominated.

Martinez is a good manager , very fair , and a really nice guy ... it's hard to say anything bad about him.

Even the Wigan owner , Dave Whelan , won me over a bit this morning, and i suppose , at his age , he's not gonna see many more Wigan successes ...

both guys deserve their day in the sun , their side played well.

As for us , maybe this defeat will show the players that they can't just turn up at Wembley , against a team classed as underdogs , and EXPECT to win ....... they have to WORK for anything they get !

City players should have known that 3 weeks ago when they should have won at the Etihad. Wrong two players were substituted today instead of Nasri and Tevez, Toure and Siva should have been replaced. They won't kick a ball again this season either of them because they are not fit!!

Well done Wigan, congratulations. I hope Martinez can pull another one from the hat and keep you up in the Premier League. Enjoy the evening!

Just as well that we only need one more point for second place ...... if we play six defenders and four midfield players in front of Joe Hart at Reading we just about manage to get it !

Not the players mate, Mancini.

Perfect management by Martinez.

Huge congratulations to Wigan. My dad went to school with Dave Whelan and is a proud Wiganer, so it was a bitter sweet moment as I was genuinely happy for them, even though it was at City's expense.

Wigan were the only ones at the races today adn they deserved the cup. Hope they stay up and that villa or sunderland go down.
