Nice restaurants in Manchester?

I was in Manchester for the Arsenal game :)
My first Premier League experience and certainly not the last one!

I popped in there for a drink only before going around the corner to La Bandera (which is good). Sadly I won’t be going there to eat, the menu is far too fishy for me and the place just seems too clinical with little atmosphere, it felt like I was in an ultra modern Swedish canteen. Hope they do well, just not for me.

Food is amazing, went last night and will definitely be back, oh and great wine last!

finally tried Brewski bar in Chorlton. Poutine was absolutely gorgeous. Well worth a visit. They do a mean breakfast too

Can get 2 hours free parking right outside the place or if no spaces there’s a Morrison’s car park right across the road

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good Japanese restaurant or any really good restaurants in Manchester? Looking to try new things. Thanks

Foundry Project in northern 1/4 is decent - not Japanese by any stretch, but if you like those other places, you’ll love the food in there.

Dishoom is lovely - curry

Went to Mowgli street food in Corn Exchange the other night. Indian food tapas style. Not cheap but very good quality food.
