We had tripe weekly in the colder months when I was young. Might enjoy it now being older but at the time it was "noooooo not tripe again!!!!"My late Father's family were tripe merchants at Crown Point for many, many,years.
Also had stalls on the market in Stockport,Ashton,Hyde and others.
In its day Tripe and Offal were very popular.
My Dad eat it with onions, warm milk & cheese
