A goal here or there doesn't mean he's been one of our best players . Even if he played as a 8 he's out of position all the time . As a 6 it's criminal . Neglecting all responsibility and doing what he wants . Has the Saudi window shut ? Hopefully not .

He is not out pf position often. Unless you expect him to station himself behind the Center backs. Lets not be silly here. Our build up necessitates this. We have CBs on thr ball halfway through the oppositions half. Dilly dallying on the ball.

Our attacks should start quicker, and progress quicker. We shouldn't have 8 guys packed in their half with CBs passing the ball around.

Our game has to be quicker and more sudden once we cross to the opposition's half

Remember him at Barca as well, but felt he was more of a box to box CM, driving forward, think he even did the odd stint on the wing because of barca's many centre mids. Think he could do a job as a DM, but seems a bit of waste of his talent.

They got beat against Milan. Maybe you are confusing them with other European heavyweights like Celtic or Sturm Graz.

I completely agree. Ortega, Nunes, Akanji, Stones, Kovacic, Bernardo from that 11 need moving on. But the boards decision making in the summer means we can't do everything in 24 hours.

They got a better result against Juventus than we did. Might not be heavyweights but deserve more respect than you can obviously muster.

Whilst we're on about changes, what about KDB, McAtee, Foden too from that performance? Gavrdiol was also pretty average and has made a shot load of mistakes this season, Marmoush and Savinho not great either. Ederson has been average at best this season and Grealish is clearly out of favour. Doku always injured so maybe he should go too?

Gavrdiol was also pretty average and has made a shot load of mistakes this season, Marmoush and Savinho not great either. We need to bring in a world class midfielder or 2 in the summer. Cant buy young players ,who might or might not be good.City need big and ready players to get back fighting for titles.

My point is exactly that. We need more than one. Sticking Gonzalez next to Gundogan and KDB is going to change absolutely nothing. We need a whole rethink of the midfield. Either new players or a new system of playing.
