A lot of negativity surrounding this deal. This boy was good enough to play for Barca as a teenager. Probably wanted more regular game time, so he moved to Porto known to trust the youth. Young, exciting player who will be useful especially once some of the older players move (Gundo), and he will give Rodri a chance to slowly get back into it. We have been monitoring him since he was 14, so he is hardly unknown to us.

Yes as I say if we haven't bought somebody yet it's for very good reasons. We aren't run by idiots. Fans saying there must be players out there and available but not knowing who doesn't make it so.

Nobody is saying we are run by idiots. You dont have to instantly jump to the extreme. We are run by people who are not immune to making errors.

As proven by the fact we've signed 3 players so far and seem to be after at least 1 more, this is all happening in January where we typically do no business at all because we have publicly accepted big mistakes were made in the last window(s).

How do you know its for a very good reason? Thats an assumption based on
nothing but pure belief. It could be a very poor reason for all we know. Regardless of the reason, we've desperately needed a midfielder since September, we're now in February, if we don't get one today, that's a failure by the people tasked with getting one.
