I thought Koulibaly was too old for the price being asked and Kounde was too short.
I don't even remember my preferred candidate now but it wasn't Dias.
Was it Martinez? ; )

The very same. You mean the same guy who has won 6 titles out of the last 7 years, the treble and domestic treble? Managed a team who scored over 100 goals and gained 100 points in a season?
Have some respect dickhead!!
We've sold so many young players, as only the odd couple from every age group will ever have a chance of becoming a fixture in our side, not necessarily make it.... the whole academy is to make money (yes, to help psr) unless we become a non Chumps league team, in which case, a couple more will hopefully be at that level, and stay and play, again which helps psr, but in saving transfer fees paid out. We haven't been 'forced' to sell for psr, it's our current business model.Maybe it wasn't the reason, but it does have a bearing in all transactions. Isn't that is why we have sold so many young players?
As usual Merson is talking complete nonsense. He goes on to say that once Rodri is back this lad won't get a game. He's too thick to realise that too many games probably played a part in Rodri's injury. It's a squad game you fool, rotation is essential. His beloved Chelsea have about 3 players for every position.Hes never seen him play but doesnt think he will fit in
I don't even think we had a first choice.Because he clearly wasn't our first choice, I think we probably had to find an alternative which was him.
And now Kounde plays as primarily RB- might have been worth a punt after all.I thought Koulibaly was too old for the price being asked and Kounde was too short.

Anyone who had watched the preceding AFCON would have known he was a lumbering cart horse, who needed to be put down......those who watched it, and wanted him, probably realised football really isn't for them ;)I thought Koulibaly was too old for the price being asked and Kounde was too short.

If Merson is talking him down it gives me more confidence he'll be a success. As usual Merson is talking complete nonsense. He goes on to say that once Rodri is back this lad won't get a game. I think people's reaction to the post tells you who the dickhead is.The very same.

Only 3 ??? Have they sold 22 players this week ;)As usual Merson is talking complete nonsense. His beloved Chelsea have about 3 players for every position.
No it's done, it's not official yet because we don't work like that, it'll be announced tomorrow, but the post from Fabrizio is "leaked" to show it.Is this gonna be Mido 2.0? lol
Of course it is, but there are occasions when an offer comes along which helps on that regard. If it's done (as indicated) it can be announced tomorrow or Wednesday so long as the paper work is done, does it actually matter ? We don't play until Saturday.15 minutes left in the Porto game… .. announcement after full time?
Just having a laugh, it would be typical City though : )No it's done, it's not official yet because we don't work like that, it'll be announced tomorrow, but the post from Fabrizio is "leaked" to show it.
Also Porto are currently playing (without him in the squad), we wouldn't announce during a game out of respect.
Expect them to confirm it’s completed, not the shite vids etcIf it's done (as indicated) it can be announced tomorrow or Wednesday so long as the paper work is done, does it actually matter ? We don't play until Saturday.
