Anyone else find Otamendi to be a really allusive character?
It’s hard to form any real personal attachment to him as you rarely see even a glimpse of his personality.
Rarely talks, rarely shows any emotion, limited interaction with the supporters etc.
Not a criticism by the way. I just feel like I barely know anything about him.

If he is leaving, I can only wish him the deepest thanks and all the very best. An unassuming personality but definitely a rock on the pitch. Over the four seasons, he has played an average of 3,646 minute per season, this one easily his lowest tally, and only missed an incredible one game through injury. That doesn’t happen in this league unless you look after yourself and unless you are prepared to play through the pain and injuries to help your teammates. Respect.

Doubtful, I think Pep has to make Stones and Laporte the first choice and Otamendi at this stage in this career isn't going to want to be third choice I don't think.Is there any chance with Kompany leaving affects anything with Otamendi?

Hope he stays now vinny has left,you can't play the same pair all the time so he would play quite a bit

Someone getting him for 25m or less will be the bargain of the summer. He's in phenomenal shape even at 31 with plenty left in the tank. Atletico should be all over it, would be ideal in a Simeone side.
I’m a little skeptical he’s going to go for anything less than a decent, 30ish million, fee now. With Vinny gone we don’t have a huge incentive to sell so someone would have to make it worth our while.Someone getting him for 25m or less will be the bargain of the summer.
