Nicola Sturgeon

I know plenty. Others here that have completely different social circles have said the same. I'm sure the snp will be aware what percentage of their voters are pro and anti independence as well, with surveys etc regularly attempted.

I know a lot that swayed to snp after indyref thinking that was it, some swayed back once the second push came, some didnt.

Well I must say I have never encountered these people before, so fair enough.

I am genuinely surprised

A number of us have tried mate. I never thought I would end up defending Nicola on here, but I have a number of times. As a Scottish Unionist the attitude on here sometimes makes me very sad.

A scottish unionist defending Sturgeon and the Indy movement and Scottish voters that vote SNP but don’t want Indy.

What is this world I have stepped into? Haha.

Labour haven’t been in power since and the year following this, the party changed leadership.

I am providing a reason - a guess - as to why to labour have been battered up here.

I suspect, know, that the vow and in general getting into bed with the tories during the Indy ref hurt them up here.

There will be other reasons

I’ve never met an SNP voter that would vote no.
Not one.

I know loads of folk that have swayed toward the SNP after the indy vote.
None of them are no voters though.
My wife and myself did, not so sure I will next time depends on Brexit. I know at least 2 other people that vote SNP and voted no last time. Think they have been a decent government and will cross the independence issue if and when it arises.

Sorry I am not sure what you are saying.

You vote for the SNP but would vote No?

Don’t go on the Brexit thread at all costs. Unionist or not Brexit has changed my view and I am quite happy to defend Sturgeon on here when someone posts views that are not based on reality.

Brexit was always going to be a huge thing for the Indy movement.

I tend to frequent scottish forums, but find it hard to locate A) tories and B) those that are anti Indy, which is why I wanted to come on this.

I may take a look at the brexit thread. But I can imagine what it is like.

“Getting into bed with the Tories” is a nonsense way of describing what happened, it’s pure hyperbole and it’s not relevant now.

You’re getting what you want from voting Labour, apparently, but as I say, it’s not enough.

I voted No last time, any next time depends on Brexit I'll decide if and when. It's not that unusual. If every SNP voter had voted Yes last time it would have been much closer, it would probably have won with Yes voters that voted for other parties.
