That run was great and got a few out of their seats. As for the numbers?
There's only 8 CB' to chose from this week and his rating wasn't that high anyway. He had 6 tackles and won 5 duels. 0 and 0 for stones. He also had that successful take on where he weaved through a few defenders and dumped a nice pass to raz (if memory serves me right) which was brilliantly done on his part. He also had a 94% pass completion.

Correct, won the ball with pace and power and it started the build up for the 5th goal.

Congratulations Ota on proving stats don't tell the whole story in football.
Leverkeusen athletico leicester Monaco and Porto centre backs were worse than otamendi. The defending was poor in all the matches played this week. The only defence that seemed ok was the Juventus pair and their opposition were down to 10 men.

I just replayed every duel and tackle won for nico and everything was accurate as well as the interceptions, saves, and dribbles. Maybe they missed it but when I was fast forwarding nico was always in the action and stones was loafing around nowhere to be found. They predominately hammered the left side so naturally stones wouldn't have as many opportunities to make any tackles. For those who think that nico isn't great in the air and discredit his high duals won stats just take a look around the 14th minute where they hoof it up to falcao. Falcao ran into a wall and fell down.

Amazing how they can get it right for Nico but fail to spot Stones making that tackle, go to the 80th minute, @schfc6 is spot on, it was that tackle that led to the breakaway which eventually resulted in the 5th goal.
I don't doubt Otamendi is good in duels but where's the marks against for not being able to judge the flight of a ball? Playing Falcao onside for their equaliser? Does he get marked down for lazily throwing a leg into Falcao having been caught wrong side again?
Sure.Once again proving stats are a load of horse shit. Anyone with a working set of eyes knows how poorly Otamendi played during that game.
