All the money in the world yet Txiki etc continue to buy terrible players.

Seems a decent guy but can't play in Pep's system.

Watching the game back, he seems to be massively desperate to over-commit, leaving him out of position and wanting for Chelsea's last 2 goals. For the equaliser, he just isn't strong enough and that's piss poor for a supposed hardman.

I loved the lauding over one of his last ditch tackles in the area at 1-1 in the second half.

After he committed himself on the half way line and found himself wanting on yet another occasion. The centre back version of De Jong. He's about Stoke's level.

He's all show. Softer than Kolarov, and that's an insult.

He's all or nothing. He either wins the ball or commits himself and takes himself completely out of the game. That might be ok in a system where you have lots of cover, but in a system where we don't leave many people back it's absolutely suicidal. I'm sure he'll get big cheers when he does lunge in and win the ball, but it's just reckless and makes life impossible for the other defenders when he commits and doesn't get there.

He reminds me so much of Demichelis when he first got here, he was also constantly lunging in on the half way line and taking himself out of the game. But Demichelis learned that that was unnecessarily risky and changed his game, Otamendi shows no signs of doing that.

Kolarov, the guy who once ushered on the med team because he hurt his hand, only to take off their bandage after 10 seconds?

Both a pair of bells who can go AFAIC

What does that acronym stand for?

That very Kolarov, yes. Otamendi is a soft twat, more bothered about his appearance and dives. Everything people dislike in a modern footballer, and because he plays for us I don't make that exception as his ability doesn't back it up.

As Far As I Care

Absolute fucking liability. Thought this since last season. He over commits every. Single. Time. It's just humiliating when he doesn't get the ball.

I would rather play Tosin. At least he will learn and develop into a better player through mistakes. Otsmendi is hardly a spring chicken. A new CB can't come quick enough.

He really is pathetic and he's being found out more and more as the weeks go on, I can't see Pep spending any money in January to bring in anymore defenders being how stubborn he is.

He must be a nightmare to play alongside. You never know what he's going to do next. The guys is a liability at this level.

A new back four and goalkeeper please Pep.
