Nigel Farage

The thing is, in any criminal case, the police don't generally give names or details of the suspect at first. Then they give a limited amount of information, much less than usual if it's a young person. Then silence falls until the trial. And then court proceedings are reported.

There's nothing unusual about any of this. But certain people made out it was all a conspiracy to conceal the 'truth'. And then they made up their own 'truth' to fit their prejudices.

The fact it takes forever from arrest to trial does not help, of course. But that's how the system works.
A criminal’s ethnicity is irrelevant once the police have made an arrest, clarified it isn’t terrorism related and that they aren’t looking for anyone else in connection with the incident. There was no need for the general public to demand more information.

All social media did, through people like Farage and his “questions”, is stoke up the racists to go rioting.

Personally I'd like them to do it then when the massive majority arrested are white Anglo-Saxon UK male citizens you have shot all their foxes with one bullet. Their argument would be dead in the water

I felt he was asked a question and then he answered the question he wanted to be asked so obviously you have to try and steer him back to the question you asked. He is too used to GBN where they just give him the opportunity of a monologue
He only appears when he knows he won't be given too hard a time. He get's prickly very quickly when he is mildly put on the spot, which is there for most of us to see when he's occasionally asked to substantiate his claims.

As you say, he's used to droning on unopposed on GB News. Now he's an MP, he's rightfully under a lot more scrutiny, and he's uncomfortable with the negative exposure a clued up journalist would give him.

I don't expect to see him being cross examined by Victoria Derbyshire or James O'Brien any time soon for that reason. A cosy good natured chat on Good Morning Britain is his limit, but even that is too much for him at times.

Just saw a nice chap being interviewed, had a rifle tattoo on his face threatening Nigel. Good chance he will be over here soon? Is this the sort the looney left want over here? None seems interested?
