I think I agree, taking them seperately.

Anyone found bullying or cajoling Jews or any ethnic group or anyone really should not be considered for any job let alone public office.

Anyone found singing Nazi songs or indeed any song glorifying the death of any particular group should not be considered for any job let alone public office.

Anyone found taking a bung or donation of any kind should not be considered for any job let alone public office.

I'll add one of my own, anyone found to have lied, cheated on their partners, ever stolen anything or been cruel to animals, insects or fish should not be considered for any job let alone public office.

And finally, I hope everyone is treated exactly the same in regards the above with no grace or favour given and no excuse accepted for failing to abide by the above.

You're actually being a bit stupid now with your examples but I suppose that's your prerogative on a public forum to compare bullying of Jewish kids with cruelty to insects, because it helps us all see exactly what you are.

Yes I am being deliberately silly but surely going back to someone's schooldays to judge their character is well over the top? Now, I do not mind doing it but I'd want everyone's schooldays to be judged too and I was making the point that I doubt anyone would pass a moral purity test based on our schooldays.

You know, less the Saudi student part, I heard that story few days ago but couldn’t find it so thought it was made up. Just looked and the attacker got 22 years but was only published on the local BBC news website.

I find it quite incredulous that this wasn’t front and centre, considering the current climate!

I always try to think the BBC is open and straight with their readership, but after a few stories now being hidden, I’m beginning to think that there’s something dark happening in the background where they to are influencing how the narrative is told.

It's barely believable that Farage's £5 million gift that he is struggling to account for barely gets a mention in the media, never mind other reportedly similar gifts.

The question that needs to be asked is: what do media companies stand to.gain should Farage become PM?
 
Farage and his ilk are poisoning discourse. Restore, reverberate, reform, revert, review or whatever these fascist cunts name themselves are only doing the work of the owners of capital.The people who fund them and give them money to buy £5 million pound houses etc. We are in danger of becoming a Plutocracy.

We are approaching a new reckoning where those with wealth take our democracy back to the 1700s, a time when wealth and privilege got you power. Of course the Labour party have much to answer for too, it has purged the anti capitalists and allowed pro capitalists to run the party, a party now run for those with wealth and privilege.

The far right parties know the left is in disarray and they have carte blanche through their wealthy owned media to attack the left at every junction. The current main attack line is that the left are the party of "benefits", the other attack line is "immigration". typical far right talking points. But they speak fucking nonsense, but the likes of GBEEBIES and the Mail amplyfy it and they are organs that Goebbels would have loved to have at his disposal.

I am appalled that the far right are making inroads into our great city. The only people who will benefit from a Manchester run by the likes of Reform are those with wealth, the working class will get fuck all, our lives will not improve, our neighbourhoods will not improve, your lives will not improve because immigration goes down and anti Muslim hate increases.

i could go on for hours, but i am tired, fighting against the far right is tiring, i am tired.

Tomorrow though, i will fight again.

I’ve seen someone on this thread mention grooming gangs - one of the main factors in those cases, which rarely gets reported, is that chaotic people with a history and ongoing use of alcohol and drugs don’t make ‘good witnesses’. Now, it should obviously have been asked as to why these young women were in taking alcohol and drugs to this extent which made their statements inconsistent

But that is why we need unconscious bias training - poor, semi-homeless white girls should be taken seriously as the next person

Also, this was now 20 years ago and as a result(along with the Saville stuff) it could be argued(not my position) that the complainant(s) are taken *too* seriously which results in mainly men having very serious charges hanging over them for many years

My point is, the police and CPS have a hard job with limited resources

*My best mate is a criminal defence barrister who deals with this stuff on a daily basis so I do have some knowledge in this regard

The point is that Farridge has a history, from mid teens to the present day of actions that would/could/should prevent him being given even one vote to potentially be a PM. It says a lot about the electorate what they are prepared to let go, a bit like Trump saying he could open fire on Fifth Avenue and still get in.

Comparing his schooldays and other events with "everyone else" is yet another bit of silliness on your part as not everyone else is striving to be the PM.
