Semi off topic but how irritating was that announcement saying "please stay in your seat at the final whistle" when we were losing 2-1. Think people were more likely to get as far away from the pitch as possible than try and get on it.

I was exactly the same, CTID1988. I was listening on the internet in my camper parked in Portugal.
I was really very, very down after the QPR equaliser but hung in there right up until Edin's equaliser...

The last 20 minutes, all I kept saying is that Geordie bastard is fucking right.
I still try to imagine what City centre Manchester would have been like after the game if we had lost or drawn.

I'll never forget edins header...I can't believe he had the will and that much heart despite being mistreated by Mancini being placed on the bench even when on good form..and he stepped in with minutes left and did that..he willed us through with one header of the ball..that's why I will always have a special place for edin in my heart ..and would loved if he stayed and given a real chance to prove his worth..cause I believe there's still a lot left he has to show
