No! City win the title and I left at 1-2!

I Stayed,Somehow! Just remember the carnage when Kun delivered,And then the pitch Invasion. The lady next to me was screetching "Get off the Pitch"-think for fear of the Presentation being Cancelled?!,Any way they didnt hear her!

I left my seat around the 90 minute mark.

I had a seriously extended halftime headache and thought "fuck it all".

Fortunately, the guy i arranged a lift back with had parked on the north side (as i always exit towards the south) so I walked round the concourse booting plastic cups thinking i cannot go in my local EVER again. Edin equalised as i got level with the penalty area so i dropped down right onto the steps to watch Sergio smash it home.

I would love to know the height i jumped when it went in. In reality it was probably about a foot, but it felt like ten!!

My t-shirt got ripped but i didnt give a fuck - 30 years of frustration brought me to my knees crying - I remember an old woman holding me like my mum wouldve done when i was young - the whole thing almost surreal.

When the whistle went I knew (at nearly40) i shouldn't head for the pitch but I flew over the wall like Akabusi in his prime and a steward very nearly headbutted my fist when he tried to stop me (and im not a fighter). I did a full semi-circle at full speed, probably at 45 degrees, and then i got a moment of clarity and scarpered off.

Once back on the stairs i couldn't even type the pincode on my phone.

Note: I didnt intend to write all that but this thread brought back that day like it was yesterday so i thought i'd type it anyway - thanks!!

I know someone (who shall remain nameless) very well who left at 1-2. They are really loyal, go to all home and most aways. Never leaves before the end but couldn't handle the emotion and the thought of losing.

I feel so sorry for them, really sorry as that was a never ever to be experienced again moment.

Those who regularly leave early I have less (though not none) sympathy for!

My Wife still has the text message on her phone that I sent with 5 minutes left:

"Ah well there's always next year."

Stiff British Upper Lip and all that!

As we all were, I was totally and utterly devastated at that point. Just sat there numb.

Even now I can't, and, don't think I ever will never comprehend, the emotion I felt when Sergio scored.

It was when SWP broke away with the ball that I mentally re-entered the stadium, I felt a shiver go down my spine, there were goosebumps, and then under my breath I said "we're going to score here". There was the perfect and almost unnerving raising of the volume, right up to Sergio scoring.

.

Honestly, when NDJ picked up the ball, I just knew we were going to score. Or at least that's how I remember it.

I got up about 85 mins in, went to the loo and the concorse in SS level 2 had quite a few people just loitering/head in hands/kicking walls... My head had gone at that point, decided to leave, walked down the spiral and as I got to the bottom something just said to me to not leave. Bizarre moment... The Steward was beckoning me to leave, but I turned on my heels and walked back up..

As I got back to the top of the stairs at my entrance, the corner was being taken and Dzeko scored. Never actually got back to my seat in all the chaos that ensued in the last few minutes... That 4 minutes will live with me forever... Thank god I came back...

The thing that sticks out for me was the score board clock stopping at 90 mins so had no idea where we were with extra time.just assumed ref would blow up straight from restart ,to this day have no idea why qpr restarted like that as you can see the bench finding out on the final attack.
