I find that I have no affiliation with any City players now and IMO they're all a bunch of mercenaries. Players are only here for the money (as they are at all other clubs), which doesn't bother me because our owner is now footing the bill.
Whoever is wearing our shirt, I'll cheer on. When they leave, I don't care.

D'yer know what, although I wouldn't have put it as strongly as that, I, to a degree, do agree.

I know it's the price of fame etc - however, the one thing that I can relate to, and yes, they could still be classed as 'mercenaries', is the 6 English starters v Liverpool - that, and that only, is my link towards the team...

and you can go through the English players

Hart, threatened to leave. He didn't say "I'm going to fight for a starting place"
Richards, got his big contract and now is a lazy arse git
Barry, Milner and Lescott are only here because we doubled their money

That only leaves Adam Johnson, who, to be fair, moved to a Premier league club from a lower league.

from 1888 on we've always had mercenaries - we just have a better class of mercenary now

he accept half wage just go to Santos and to Milan. I hope him well and wish the best for him.
Something is not work out is he cannot accept to sit in the bench and wait for his time here and choose to take half wage from other club.
Some players that is not in manager plan but still want to stay and only leave with golden shake money for compensation and some will go when City pay most of his wage during loan out even manager make it clear by already put them in reserve team.
It is decision of individule that whichever way I respect including Robinho decision.

I wish all of them the best for their future in the way they choose.
Goog luck and good bye to all.

Pathetic.

Thanks Robinho for coming to City in the first place and taking a leap of faith. Others followed, we are now into a new chapter and Robinho is no longer part of it. Grow up.
