No More Champions League For Me

I afraid it's domestic football only for me from now on. I've been increasingly disillusioned with the so called Champions League for some time and my decision is not just a reaction to last night. I will save my money for our Wembley trips from now on.
reasons :-
1. Bent referees
2. Blatantly rigged draws designed to ensure half a dozen big clubs progress

3. Rip off ticket prices
4. FFPR designed to protect half a dozen big clubs
5. No alcohol in grounds.
6. UEFA effectively condoning racist chanting
7. UEFA insisting no domestic games are played on CL nights
8. Season ticket holders being forced out of their seats for press seats and bigger advertising boards
9. Meaningless group games with nothing at stake
10. Obvious bias by high ranking UEFA officials (eg Platini) towards certain clubs and against English clubs in particular City
11. Heavy handed and often thug like policing abroad
12. The Etihad filled with tourists on Champions League nights

The first two are just plain wrong and others are "so what?" but the obvious point not made is that City weren't as good as Barcelona.

I love the way we are all so intolerant of each others views;

If you dislike the Champions League and it's format/pricing/corporatism you're a whining moaner who should go back to when we played York & Macclesfield and stand against progression.

If you like the Champions League you're a plastic armchair fan who has too much money to waste and enjoys being ripped off.

yep same, last season i said i was done with it, wouldn't spend any more money on champs games due to the corruption, This season has been the same more bent refereeing im done with it for good now.

I said this on the Match Forum after 25 minutes tonight mate.I stopped watching it and came downstairs and left our lad screaming obscenities at the TV in his bedroom for the final 65 minutes.
Its as bent as fuck and I for one will not be going to any future CL matches.And we have the nerve to complain on a match day about English officials.Give me them any day over these cheating biased twats.
