No More Champions League For Me

Someone explain to me why this is a genuine seeding system and not a fix. When was the last time the Chavs were able to call themselves the champions of England. Or Arsenal. And when was the last time the Dippers even qualified. It calls itself the champions league and says it is basing its structure on a seeding system. It can fuck right off. It is either corrupt or it is an absolute shambles.

Some fair points you have made, just don't feel the team that wins it has much to brag about apart from the hyp !

As far as empty seats are concerned we buy on value, 50 quid for a three ticket bundle in group stages, perhaps then etihad would be like normal match day and season card holders would keep their seats... Had better nights in Europa cup for 15 a ticket playing Poznan and yaris........

Exactly. I've had some incredible times watching City in Europe. It was something I always dreamt of and it lives up to all expectations. I'm expecting us to get to the final in the next year or two and it will be an incredible adventure. Winning big two-legged games against the best teams in the world is going to stand as some of the greatest occasions of our modern history.

awww just because weve got an hard group , people are suddenly not arsed about the champions league its corrupt its fixed, platini hates us etc etc etc , well manchester united are not arsed about the champions league too, go and join them, we will be too busy having a party in rome moscow and munich, and if we get to berlin lets see whos not "arsed" about the champions league.

Of course it bothers me. It's fucked up, it's completely corrupt but that makes want to stick two fingers up to them and show them that no matter what they do it won't change anything. Anyway it's not about them, it's about us and is our support as world class as our team.

I know we have every chance of getting through the group but its not beyond the realms of possibility that we won't. How can they treat us so differently than they treat Chavski year after year after year? How can they justify that? It is not a level playing field. This leaves a bad taste whether we win it or not. The words Low French Farce come to mind.
