There’s absolutely no doubt he’s not being used or fed correctly at all at the moment. At the start of the season our all round game was much better than it is at the moment and he was getting cut backs and decent crosses. He wasn’t getting too many in balls in behind or over the top but he got a few and scored a few from them, now he’s getting none.

He’s not the problem and anyone in the media saying that is just delusional. But we aren’t using him well since the World Cup.

It's every game now. He makes runs after runs after runs. No one ever passes to him or even attempts to. Its pissing me off. Can't imagine how he's feeling.

He's 7ft tall ffs. Chip it to him more often. It's driving me insane watching all the wasted opportunities.

He certainly wasn't used properly today. Pep should be watching MOTD.
Get the ball into the box where he's making a run and he will score.

Does Kane have 11 men behind the ball when he`s trying to play. Does his manager at Spurs insist on a snail slow methodically build up that pushes the opposition back to the edge of their own box before trying to find Kane in the box.

As an all round footballer Kane is on a different planet to Haaland. We know what Erling is and need to play to his strengths. Kane would probably be right back with Rico Lewis false 9 by now under Pep anyway.

The problem isn't needing different dynamic wide players. It's that the dynamic creative players we have are told not to do anything dynamic or creative until there is a high chance it will come off. Anything less, don't risk losing the ball, play it safe. So against well set up teams, that threshold is never reached and we just pass it around sideways forever...

Seriously, even at the end, when we were running out of time, tap, tap tap.

I love Pep, he's a brilliant coach, we owe him for so much success, but the team is currently less than the sum of its parts

Did we not see Mahrez take the ball and run past the Spurs defenders and score in the game at the Etihad?

Grealish tried getting past Emerson Royal on a few occasions, but he didn't quite have the pace to get away. The one time he did he got fouled just outside the area.

It's not that the players are being told they absolutely cannot dribble past a full back, it's that the likes of Grealish aren't capable of beating their full back repeatedly or getting in behind them and running through on goal.

I think we're all of one mind that Haaland's ability is being partially blunted by a "low-risk" possession based strategy.

What annoys the hell out of me is that early through balls are potentially LESS risky.

Scenario A : we play a quick ball through to Haaland and the opposition win the ball. Pretty much every City player is still back in defence or midfield. Zero risk of counter attack.

Scenario B : we ignore the quick pass and opt for possession instead. This requires most of our team to push up to support a passing move. Lose the ball and the majority of our team is out of position defensively. We've seen this time and time again.

And that's before you consider the early pass to Haaland causing panic in the opposition defence and making them drop much deeper, creating all kinds of space in front of them. We've played teams this season with slow defenders playing offside on the half-way line because they know we won't play a ball over the top.

Frankly this is becoming ridiculous. Pep said two weeks ago that we were going to play more passes to Haaland, I see no evidence of that.
